Grooming
Our grooming services are provided by Dan Leahy whose Doggie Do's salon offers full-service grooming to the general public as well as our regular customers. Grooming is available Tuesday through Saturday. Prices are based on dog's size and coat length and condition.
For an appointment, please call Dan at (860) 335-0568.Dogs entering the building for grooming are REQUIRED to have proof of up to date vaccinations (rabies, Parvo/Distemper and Bordatella).
For well-socialized dogs, you may choose to add a half-day of daycare during your dog’s non-grooming time. This option requires an interview by the daycare staff and a bit of paperwork, so call in advance or plan on starting at your second grooming visit. Raw Food Diets
A growing number of dog breeders, dog show handlers, canine sports competitors, veterinarians and concerned owners have begun to take a second look at what we feed our dogs and what diet is best. Many of these informed people have turned to raw food diets that provide a more natural form of nutrition for carnivores.
We carry Bravo, a complete line of fresh frozen ground raw meat, bone, and veggie products. For those who want to feed a raw diet, these prepared raw foods offer the best in safety and convenience. With chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and organ meat products, our raw food line provides the full spectrum of variety.
We also stock many health and diet-related supplements from US Nutritionals.
Facility Rental
The Good Dog Spot! is available for weekend rentals, and some evening rentals. It is a perfect site for matches, fun days, club meetings and general get-togethers. With the fully matted play/training floor, plus a crate room, tub room, extra large library room, handicapped-accessible bathroom, fenced outdoor potty area, and plenty of parking -- you have everything you need for a successful event. Our regulation agility equipment is also available for rental if you are renting the facility.Please call us for rental availability and prices.
