Puppy
Kindergarten
This
7 week class for pups 10-16 weeks is designed to develop a solid foundation
of communication and trust between puppy and owners. It provides an
introduction to teaching the pup attention, self control, and basic
commands. The course will include off-leash playtime and other socialization
exercises.

dogs first night* Class meets weekly for one hour.
Canine
Companion Basics
This
7 week course is designed for all age pups and dogs age 4 months and up. The goal of this
class is to teach you the basics of communicating with your dog while
teaching your dog the foundation of good manners. All basic commands
are taught with an emphasis on practical application t real-life situations.
Off-leash playtime included.

Manners
and More
This class is designed for dogs
who have graduated Canine Companion Basics or a similar course taught
on operant conditioning methods. This class increases understanding
of basic commands by working through various kinds of distractions.
Practical application of commands is developed through games and scenarios.
The class meets one week at the pet store for real-life sessions.
Dogs attend all sessions.
Tricks
and Clicks
Clicker training is great for building any behavior,
not just "obedience commands," and the learning is fun! Improve
your training skills and your dogs learning ability while teaching fun
and useful tricks. This class is for anyone, and is even a great introduction
to clicker training prior to using it for better behavior.
A special course just for kids and
their dogs is offered during the summer.
Beginner Agility
This 8 week course is an introduction to the basic agility obstacles
training and handling methods. Dogs begin to develop a confidence
and skills in jumping, climbing, tunneling and weaving through
obstacles. It is recommended that a 6 foot leash (no flexi-leads)
and flat buckle collar be used. Small soft treats and toys should
be brought to classes as rewards for the dogs.
Prerequisite: All dogs must be non-aggressive and not have major fear
issues. Dogs and handlers must have knowledge of basic obedience/manners
and have a reliable recall, sit, down, stay and loose leash walking
abilities.
